On Friday 11 September 2026, we will be celebrating our companies\u2019 anniversaries and generational transitions with an open day from 2 pm to 5 pm. The programme includes an introduction to our operations, guided tours of the sawmill, the chance to try out a forestry machine simulator, and music by Elias Niemel\u00e4 on the organ and Stefan Stanciu on the pan flute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTervolan Saha ja H\u00f6yl\u00e4\u00e4m\u00f6 Oy is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, whilst Mets\u00e4 Kokkonen Oy is marking its 20th. In addition to these milestones, our companies have undergone generational transitions, as a result of which ownership has passed from Lea and Juha Kokkonen to the next generations within the family.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Juho-Heikki, Samuli, Henri and Mikael Kokkonen, as well as Saara-Kaisa Parkkinen and Elina Alam\u00e4ki, will continue as the new owners of the Tervolan Saha ja H\u00f6yl\u00e4\u00e4m\u00f6 Oy group. Hannu-Pekka Kokkonen will continue as the new owner of Mets\u00e4 Kokkonen Oy.
